Programme for Entreprenurial Skill Development for Women

Within the human settlements coming under the purview of the USDA, there is a large segments of women who need to be guided and uplifted with  men becoming the traditional bread winners. The women are mostly confined to the traditional roles that housewives play with their obligatory roles connected with children.

A major obligation within this programme is to create in women an entrepreneurial mindset  to enable them to engage in joint self employment initiatives with fellow women who face similar life conditions. It is also seen that those who have made progress in entrepreneurial work require further training to enable them to plan out their livelihoods in areas such as sewing and beauty culture in a sustainable manner with employment skills like planning and budgeting to be more profitable.
