Provided Dhamma School Equipment to the children of the Kelaniya River Reserve Settlement
Under the Saubhagya Nena Bala, an active sub-program under the “Swashakthi Human Development Program”, the Kelaniya River Reserve in the Gampaha District provided school equipment to the children of the settlement prepared for their Dhamma school education.
For the occasion of providing Dhamma school educational equipment to several children symbolically with the participation of a limited number of children as per the instructions of the Health Department. State Minister of Urban Development, Waste Disposal, and Community Cleanliness Dr. Nalaka Godahewa, Chairman of the Urban Settlement Development Authority Mr. Sampath Subhasinghe Arachchi and a number of officials were present on this occasion. It is gratifying to note that we are always able to make some contribution to the creation of a disciplined group of children who love the country and are full of self-sufficiency, providing the guidance of the Urban Settlement Development Authority in all the educational needs of these children.
