Mrs. K.K.W. Thushari Priyanka De Silva officially took over as the Director General of Urban Settlement Development Authority (USDA) on 19th November 2024 at a ceremony held at the Director General office of USDA, attended by Chairman, Mr. Asanka Abeywardena and the senior management of USDA.

Mrs. De Silva brings with her over 20 years of experience in planning & management disciplines and prior to this appointment she held the position of the Director Planning and Management Information System of USDA. She is an alumni of Bachelor of Science in Physicals Stream of the university of Colombo and also holds a Masters of Public Management from Sri Lanka Institute of Development Administration (SLIDA).
