With align to World Habitat Day 2023 celebrations “Siyana children’s painting competition” was held on 07th October, 2023 at Gampaha Udugamipala Senarat Paranavitana National School. About 500 children from many schools across the island participated to this competition. Each participating child was given a set of painting equipment.

The Urban Settlement Development Authority (USDA),which was established in 2008 by Parliament Act No. 36 of 2008, is an institution functioning under the Ministry of Urban Development and Housing.
